The JapanSoc Newsletter

April 2, 2009

JapanSoc.org has really taken a positive stride forward this week. Soon after a terrific article titled JapanSoc: Building Community Online was published in J@pan Inc, we tentatively opened the JapanSoc Forums. The new forums provide a fantastic playground for web-related projects and teamwork, but they are only part of our growing community. We finally have a homepage at JapanSoc.org, which serves as a portal to all the main parts of our group such as the Wiki, the Google Group, our increasingly popular bookmarking site and the JapanSoc Blogs project. We’ve expanded our groups with the addition of Flickr and a new group on the completely revamped social networking site, eGenki. Of course, this newsletter is coming to you from a dedicated blog, and it’s sent out via RSS and Twitter, and is duplicated in the Google Group for everyone to receive by email, too.

With so much happening, where do you start? I suggest heading to our new homepage and learning more about what JapanSoc is, what it can do for you, and how you can get involved.
